Black sea wedge shell

The wild collected black sea wedge shell (Tellina) has an excellent taste because of its light saltiness as well as the purity of the Black sea. The white clam can be consumed also raw, but it is extremely popular in the italian and the french cuisine. The clam is often used in many diets. Wedge shells are often prepared with white wine, garlic and parsley, if added to different sauces, they give a well distinguished accent to any pasta meal. The delicate white clams  are pearl rose-blueish colored and therefore they are well known not only for the excellent taste of the muscle but they are also popular in the jewelry and haberdashery areas.
